1. Backrest Durability Test - 120,000 cycles
Apply 109kg (240lbs) load to center of seat with a pressure of 445N (100lbf) 90º to the backrest.
2. Caster Swivel Test - 120,000 cycles
Wheel base to rotate 360º under a 122kg (270lbs) load on the seat at maximum and minimum chair height.
3. Seat Durability Test - 100,000 cycles
A 57kg (125 lbs) load to fall onto the seat from 3cm (1.2in) height to ensure no loss of service ability and function of chair.
4. Rear Stability Test
The chair shall not tip over after test.
5. Caster Durability Test - 100,000 cycles
Casters are assessed over both smooth surfaces and hard surfaces with obstacles.
6. Armrest Durability Test - 60,000 cycles
Apply 400N (90lbf) to each armrest at an angle.
7. Proof Load Drop Test
A 136kg (300 lbs) load to fall onto the center of the seat from 15cm (6in) height to ensure no loss of structural integrity in terms of fracture, deformation or fatigue etc.
8. Front Corner Load Ease Test - 40,000 cycles
Apply 734N (165 lbs) to each front corner of the seat.
